Hi there! I'm Vanessa, the artist and creator behind Art Ideas. My journey with art began unexpectedly in 2022, after surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm that nearly took my life. During my long recovery, I picked up a paintbrush for the first time—and everything changed.

I'm not a trained artist or art school graduate. I'm learning right alongside you, discovering techniques through trial and error, online tutorials, and a whole lot of happy accidents. Art isn't about being perfect—it's about being present. And after facing mortality, I've learned that every moment of creativity is a gift.
